Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a single source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) intends to solicit and award a single source contract to E-Finity Distributed Generation for a preventative maintenance agreement on two (2) Capstone Micro Turbine generators. The proposed contract action is for a firm fixed price service contract to fulfill this requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of responses to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposed of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated period of performance for the Capstoen Micro Turbine Preventative Maintenance Agreement will be for one year, from 25 September 2020 to 24 September 2021. Market research was conducted and shown to support the single source determination. See attached J&A Single SOurce Justification for additional information regarding the single source determination.
